1. Description of Services

1.1. Main Services:
  • Guidance on the necessary documents based on the visa type selected by the Client.

  • Assistance with filling out the required forms.

  • Administrative support for submitting visa applications to the competent authorities.

  • Scheduling in-person appointments for the Client at VFS Global or the competent consular authority, subject to availability.

1.2. Additional Services:
  • Document verification to ensure compliance with publicly stated requirements.

  • Coordination with third-party service providers, as needed.

1.3. Administrative Scope:

The services provided are strictly administrative and do not include legal representation (attorney-at-law services), unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

1.4. Specific Case Analysis:

All applications will be handled with personalized support. Applications identified as particularly complex by the Company may include a consultation with an independent lawyer, arranged and covered by Live In Portugal Support as part of the service package.

2. Service Limitations

2.1. Live In Portugal Support does not guarantee visa approval. Decisions are made exclusively by the competent immigration authorities.

2.2. Appointment scheduling is strictly subject to availability by VFS Global or Consulates. While we will make every effort to secure an appointment, specific dates cannot be guaranteed.

3. Timeline and Processing

3.1. Statutory deadlines state that the visa process should take up to 60 days. However, real-world processing times may vary significantly due to the workload of the Portuguese authorities (AIMA/Consulates).

3.2. The Company is not responsible for delays caused by:
  • The time elapsed between the appointment and the consular analysis.

  • Requests from the authority for additional documents.

  • Strikes, systemic failures, or bureaucratic backlogs at AIMA/VFS.

4. Service Fees

  • Travel expenses.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

5.2. Client Cancellation (After 14 Days or after Service Start):

If the Client cancels the service after the 14-day period, or after the Company has commenced work (e.g., document review, form filling) with the Client's consent:

  • No refund will be issued for the service fees already paid.

5.3. Visa Refusal:

In the event of a final visa refusal by government services for reasons beyond the Client's control (excluding criminal record issues or fraudulent documents provided by the Client), Live In Portugal Support agrees to refund the service fees paid, minus a 350€ administrative fee to cover work performed.

5.4. Service Failure:

If Live In Portugal Support is unable to provide the service due to internal reasons (e.g., staff unavailability), a full refund will be issued.

6. Client Responsibilities
